Collars for a Cure.

I've agreed to sponsor my friend Amani in her goal to raise funds for the Twin Cities Breast Cancer 3-Day walk benefiting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The 3-Day is a 60-mile walk done over the course of three days, and all money raised is used to fund breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.

This will be Amani's 5th 3-Day walk. She participates in the 3-Day to honor the memory of her grandmother, who lost her battle with cancer in 2002.

In order to help Amani reach her personal goal of $2200, swankypet.net will donate $5 for each Pink Ribbon collar, harness, or lead sold through August 24th, 2007.
