I have to apologize for our blog's absence for a few weeks. Thankfully, it is up and running now, so check back often for the latest swankypet.net news, promotions and specials!I'm happy to announce the winner of February's drawing....Peggy Falk and Odie, of course. Peggy and Odie live in Manistee, Michigan and they have a great story:
"This is Odie. He was a rescue from the mean streets of San Antonio! He has seen it all for he has the scars to prove it. My grandsons Tavaris (5 yrs) named him Leo and Tyler (4 yrs) named him Otis so we now have Otis Leo alias Odie-ban-dodie'ski or just plain Odie :0) He is about 2 1/2 - 3 years old and is the nicest mannered dog. My daughter Jess who lives in San antonio and adopted him last July from a pound there. They didn't know if he would make it, he was very thin and very sick. Jess nursed him back to good health and the pound paid for his medical care. She thought he would be a great companion for my Grandson. The boys were a little too rough for him, they need a bigger dog. So, Nana brought him home the 1st part of December. He is shivering all the time for he is used to hot San Antonio! He where's sweaters 24-7, sits by the heater vents when the furnace is running or sits by the fireplace when we have it on....too funny! He's a keeper.."
Odie is one lucky dog to have so many people caring for him in his life. He's a cutie, too! Thanks to Peggy for sending in some cute photos of Odie in his Caliente! collar. As the monthly winner, Peggy will select a free collar of her choice!
